Abstract

We consider fluctuations of the local magnetic field in a mean-field Ising model with mixed ferromagnetic and anti-ferromagnetic interactions. We show that the distribution of the values of this local field does not converge to a stable distribution but that the probability of this distribution does converge. We compute the moments of this probability distribution on the space of measures and show in particular that it is not Gaussian.
