Abstract

Recent activity in the study of static, finite-energy, topologically charged monopole systems is reviewed. The main developments have been the study of axially symmetric systems, the proof of existence of static multi-monopole configurations for large monopole separations and the explicit construction of single monopoles of arbitratry charge and of multi-monopole configurations for small monopole separations.
